For others life remained blissfully simple, playing with her toys, listening to her grandparents, and reading her favorite books. She was none the wiser to the adult conversations or the difference between herself and the sister she had only briefly met.

Sometimes the hard decisions need a little magical support. Jaha asked Peggy more about humans and she told him all about how they practically ruled the world but were indeed weaker than a werewolf, vampire, or spellcaster. Even to an imaginary being, they were much more precious with a short life.

J: I don't get why mom is upset grandma. She loves human life. N: It's not that you little sister is human Jaha but what that means. Being different isn't easy and humans are much more frail than us. J: Can't she be turned as she gets older? N: Turning as a human is painful. It's not so easy.

Even Jay struggled with her. He had immediately bonded with Jaha and with Freya, but the wolfish bond was not there for a human. She would cry and cry despite his best efforts and he would seek Thalia out to assist.

At night after she lay their daughter to bed, Jay gave her the space to grieve in her study. Thalia's thoughts ran wild of where her genes had ran rampant enough to damn her daughter to such a short life unlike all of them. Not a single person in her family was human and yet sweet Minerva was.

While some Vogels were happy, others felt a bittersweet feeling. For Thalia, she had given birth to a new baby. Her third, another beautiful girl, but a doomed one. Jay watched her cradle her closer in the first few days than she ever did their others. For this bundle of joy had been born a human.

River bragged on her social media with a selfie and, following Zelle's departure, her coworker Steph embraced her.

When afternoon came, Zelle became a canvas for River's design and as she sat up, mixed feelings crossed her face. The tattoo looked good, River was pleased, but the choice of design reminded her of her wings and as if the magic could sense it, she felt her invisible wings mockingly flutter.

The first night in her bed again, her first night at home again, and her first 'breakfast.' Maybe grilled cheese isn't qualified but she will not complain over someone else's cooking.

Zelle tried to make an excuse, thank River for being there, and so on. Her friend waved a hand away and ignored it until Zelle regrettably uttered, "I would be open to paying you." River's smirk grew and she sat up. "Let me tattoo you." "What?" "You heard me. I need practice and your influence."

As Zelle walked into her home, she was met with an unexpected face and the cheery sounds of cartoons. Tuna ran past her for the bed, but she lingered, awkward and unsure how to break the tension as River turned to look at her.

I took a break from the sims and sims media for a bit due to irl things but logged on today to catch up on stories and I’m so sad to see my fav @mooniefables.bsky.social gone. Hope she/they are doing well wherever life is leading them ❤️

Orion and Sumara's first Winterfest as an engaged couple ❤️

Sumara got her first official audition in a voidcritter commercial.

Orion came home sick from work so the pair ordered out for dinner. It's a rarity for Orion not to cook but he was really out of it and Sumara was very attentive to him ❤️

Sumara decided to practice her acting on the stage.

Sumara was invited to attend a meet and greet for one of her favorite actors, Israel. He was very kind to her and let her take a selfie.

On nights Sumara works late, Orion sometimes sits on the porch and plays music. He still enjoys the piano 🎵

How else does a baker celebrate his engagement than to bake a cake? Freya and Sumara were exceptionally pleased as always.

Freya soon came running into the room exclaiming, "Mama say you get marrweed! That mean Uncle Ryan like unc Niko!" Sumara laughed and smiled. "That's right Freya. Orion is your real uncle now just like Masaru and Niko." Freya squealed and clapped, "Yay more Ryan cake!" And the room laughed.

S: So your mom told me on the way back you knew this was happening and agreed to stay behind so Freya didn't fuss. J: Yeah, I'm cool like that Aunt Sumara. Plus, I'm going to get proposed to one day so I'll be okay. S: You want to get married already? J: Duh every prince and princess get married

Orion and Sumnara kissed, she jumped into his arms, and then she was bombarded with her siblings congratulations. N: Congrats lil sis, you finally get the wedding bells you've been talking about since you were three. S: Oh haha mister sage to be. Some of us dream of non-supernatural things.

"Sumara Vogel, with all of your family's approval and my endearing commitment to our future, will you do the honor of marrying me?" "Orion!?" She gasped and took a pause. Then, she smiled and let him slide the ring onto her finger. She admired it earnestly, grinning. "It would be my honor."

As he pulled her to the center of the stairway, he smiled. "Sumara there is not a girl I would ever consider loving more than I do you. You have been my best friend since childhood and my first love. You've stolen every part my heart and I have loved growing beside you."

Moments before they reached the destination, the Vogel siblings gave each other a knowing look while Orion's eyes were stuck on Sumara. With a deep breath, he walked forward pulling her by her hand.

His gaze followed where Thalia whispered him to look. The hushed tones hid directions that the two younger siblings could not hear. But Orion's heart was pounding as they got closer and closer. Could he really do it?

🐺Update Sumara had shown a lot of excitement when Orion proposed a hike with her and her siblings. They left her niece and nephew with her brother-in-law to enjoy some quality time together. Unbeknownst to her, it was a plan discussed long before the vacation had begun.

I still think often of my heir to the werewolf legacy and Morgyn and their journey. I also love how Morgyn can be a damsel if they want cause they're married to a former alpha ❤️ I love seeing her carry him.
