@titusw24.bsky.social Sadly, Tom Noonan has passed. He was frightfully realistic as a serial killer in Manhunter (original Red Dragon) and tremendous as the preacher in Hell on Wheels (loosely like Deadwood on rails). Tremendous actor. Was 74. It was always a joy to see him in a character role.

Testing out my new Dolby Atmos system with an amazing recording of the Brandenburg Concertos by Netherlands Bach Society. It’s bordering on a spiritual experience. 😊 Douglas Adam’s Dirk Gently described the Brandenburgs as ‘the music of the clear light’. I agree, even if Adams was just being snarky.
