Summer in Devon- a quiet backwater of the river Taw is crossed by a local service from Barnstaple to Exeter Central in August 1984

Had a friend take a look to see if the picture of the 9f could be improved and it worked well very pleased.

257 Squadron 34072 first appearance at GCR lovely loco got to travel behind her as part of a double header.

Austerity loco 68067 returns from a round trip to Leicester North.

9F 92041 masquerading as sister loco 92043. Taken at the later end of the day yesterday without the sun in the background. A rather stunning locomotive the last of a batch to be built for British Railway.

To finish off my day yesterday i took a ride back on PHA 505G a 1968 Carlisle bodied Midland Red now in the care of the Leicester Road Transport Museum.
