Tariffs are convoluted sales taxes. Who pays these sales taxes? The people who buy the tariffed products. That means you pay it and I pay it. Your grandma pays it. Your kids and your neighbors pay it. You pay it at the grocery, at the convenience store, at nearly every cash register you visit.

I buy 18 ounces of ground Dunkin coffee every week at the same grocery store. When the current president was sworn-in, it cost $14.99. Today it costs $17.99. That’s an increase of 20%. You can pretty much directly blame 47’s tariffs. That’s twelve bucks a month out of my family’s pocket.
