Today I had a six hour break in the work day so I went to the studio and worked on a piece for a wavefield synthesis. This is by far my favorite speaker array, and I am bummed that I can't invite Maryanne Amacher in to listen to it, but I know her and Bob Beilecki are a big part of why I built it.

Today the people in my research group asked if I could buy them a laser. It turned out to be one of those pet toy laser dots. I can't tell if they are new with me or if they genuinely need one, but I'm ready to find out how they are going to use it.

I spent my entire day fixing a compression issue, fixing all the aliasing, and finding the best container to use for a media player. 90% of digital media art is troubleshooting.
