Managed to steal a couple of hours and get out on the water. I’d forgotten how fun it is to watch a wild trout rise to the surface and delicately sip your dry fly in 4 or 5 inches of water. There are some strong, healthy fish in the Arkansas River! #flyfishing #rockymountains #southwest

The story is, in the 1880's, there was a door maker in Lake Valley NM that created lots of these arch-window doors. They're only in the Black Range, with some still left in Winston, Chloride, Hermosa, Kingston, Hillsboro, and Lake Valley. We found an original and hope to salvage it for our Casita!
