The Tutorial in Virtua Fighter 4 Evo is incredible. 3d fighters have always been a kind of blind spot to me, a little Tekken and that's it These are nearly perfect. They teach concepts, how to think about the game and approach things, and it all is character specific This has BEEN solved....

Man, the vibes in DQX are awesome. I finished up the prologue and the character creation part has a rendition of one of my favorite DQ songs I think if I played this as it was coming out while growing up I'd be a completely different person

The new Dragon Quest Monsters looks to have a sort of Globe setup for the overworld this time (I sorta got animal Crossing vibes) for the perspective which I think is interesting Also thank God, it looks WAY better than The Dark Prince

I've been watching old beatmania videos and there are comments left by older Japanese people lamenting how difficult and gimmicky rhythm games are now It's kinda funny that no matter where you go or what you play there WILL be people that prefer how a game or series or genre used to be
