While I was up in my attic last night going through some things for an upcoming yard sale, I found my old copy of Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu. What a wonderful book that I am happy I rediscovered; it came at the right time ❤️ Verse 64 has always been one of my favorites, often quoted for its wisdom.

We’re almost halfway through 2026 and out of the 9 movies I’ve seen in-theaters so far (thanks to my movie pass), Project Hail Mary and Obsession are my top two. Both films are incredible examples of their respective genres. Highly recommend both 🔥 The worst? Super Mario Galaxy or The Bride!

My rankings of films I’ve seen so far this year. Outside of The Bride!, it’s been a pretty strong start for 2026 (movie-wise)

#ProjectHailMary is a modern sci-fi masterpiece in my opinion. It's visually stunning (some scenes struck me with awe, similar to 2001: A Space Odyssey) with a ton of heart (I loved Rocky). Thematically, it's a very powerful film that can resonate with anyone.
