In the last week, Arsenal have played three fixtures - Newcastle away, Olympiakos at home and West Ham at home - that they lost the last time the corresponding fixture was played. They've won all three.

Gotta give Gyokeres garlands. All gas, no brakes. No breaks, just tireless battling up front… drawing defenders, holding up play. Getting into great positions. Goals are gonna come. When they do, they’ll come thick and fast, for sure. This team works so hard for one another. Kudos Arteta.

I’m a massive Merino fan. Especially in this box-2-box role. He puts in a real shift. Amazing touch, and you know that he carries goal threat too. This Zubi Merino Odegaard midfield has shades of Cazorla Ramsey Coquelin: great balance of attributes.

I’ve never seen Arteta so critical on the sidelines. He’s really revving up individual players, calling them out. Ruthless.

I love how Martinelli waited to see if Gyokeres’s ball would cross the goal line. A more selfish player would have stolen that. As it is, he waited for the ball to come off the post and tapped it in. Class. 🙌 #Arsenal
