Fantastic book on turning biography into a two-way mirror. Can’t recommend Hester Kaplan’s memoir/biography (of her father, gleaned from his own award-winning biography of Mark Twain)/fictional speculation more highly. It’s thought provoking, wise, and beautifully written. #biography #memoir #books
