I disagree with forecasts that assume a rebound in 2026 (e.g., U.S. Travel’s +3.7%). My view is that 2025’s 5–6% decline persists into 2026 with no recovery, leaving international tourism to the USA roughly 8–10% below its most recent peak by 2027—one of the largest non-crisis declines on record.

Remember this: No actor will be meaningfully subject to effective prosecution, and no measure of punishment imposed will be remotely commensurate with the gravity and scale of the crimes and wrongdoings, lest deception continues to be dignified with the name of “justice.”
