#snowpocalypse2026 Round 2. Where I shoveled and put down melt, it is coming up in big sections that I can dump or toss into the yard area. Where I didn’t shovel and treat, you step and sink down 5-6 inches, that is like trying to shovel frozen sand with occasional ice pockets that are like rocks.

Here’s some before and after pics. Glad I went out when I did. Started to be freezing rain just as I was finishing. It will be too heavy for me to shovel very soon. As it was, it was too deep in some areas for me to easily dump it. Got one container of snow melt out. I’ve never used it before.
