Spent this weekend in the fens, on the edge of the Wash. Grew up in chalky NW Norfolk but didnt spend much time over here. Probably would have preferred it pre-Vermuyden, but it is still a very striking place. Hope to come back and see some of the remaining fen fragments/restored bits.
