Making a beat for an artist, then hearing how great the song sounds, only for the artist to never release the song, is the worst pain a producer can experience, I swear.

“Beats don’t sell. Just give up. Nobody cares about beats or rap anymore.” 😈

I don’t celebrate producers quitting or making bad decisions but maybe it’s a positive thing that so many of them are purging themselves from the beat selling market 🤷🏽

Making beats for ten thousand hours doesn’t lead to major improvement; making beats for ten thousand FOCUSED and intentional hours will though. Same for the music business. You either run in place or you run forward, you’re running either way, but they’re not the same. #musicproducer

People spend more time drying their hands than washing them and we wonder why there are global pandemics.

Listen producers, if another producer out of nowhere insults your beats and brags about how much better they are, it’s because they’re insecure and you threaten them somehow. Thank them and get back to producing.

“Using loops to make beats is the same as using AI to make beats…” the only differences are: 1. Human input 2. Copyright assignment 3. Consent (these ai platforms have admitted to training on copyrighted works) So, if you don’t care about consent, I don’t have anything to else to say to you.

Producers, listen, it took me TEN YEARS to discipline myself, network and finally make a beat good enough to get a placement and go platinum. It took me 3 years after that to get my online beat sales going crazy. Doing something for a week, month or year is rarely enough time. Don’t give up just yet
