I’m sure the bots will be here eventually, but the authenticity of one’s followers only matters if you attach significance to the total number of followers, and I’d suggest people would be happier on social media if they did much less of that. If the bots want to read my tweets, I say let them.

Is there any way to mute notifications for likes and follows on Bluesky? I like notifications for replies so I can respond in a timely manner, but evidence (and personal experience) suggests likes and follows are pure junk food which will (A) misalign your incentives and (B) make you miserable.
