On a lighter note, I have been laughing my ass off at the D&D shenanigans of @avantris.bsky.social and cannot recommend them enough, even if you don't have a background in ttrpgs.

It's weird how some days I can listen to certain music and enjoy it for what it is while, on other days, those same songs remind me of people I would listen with and I can't even look at the track name without approaching emotional turbulence. Guess that's where soundtracks come in on the playlist.

Out for a little drive today. Weather is okay enough for the windows to be down. Gas is limited and pricey, so there are a few stops to get out and walk instead of spending the day in the car. Taking a much-needed day to breathe.

Random Trivia: It took me far too long to notice that the Kingdom Key in KH wasn't just a random weird key shape, but actually had an inverted crown design (the crown being the empty space). I think of this EVERY time I see it now.

Years ago, I saw -- and saved, at the time -- a short, seconds-long video clip of a homemade BE clip. Nothing revolutionary. The girl clearly used balls/balloons in her shirt. But she was INTO it. The sounds that came out of her for each jump in size WRECKED me and I was immediately hooked.

An older woman at work brought in an opened pack of cookies and passed them off to me for helping her with a training video last week. "My grandkids don't like them, but I thought you might." I bit into one and reassured her that they tasted great and she can be my grandma any day of the week.
