Shook loose some time and a camera. It's been such a gorgeous fall - actually, an extended summer in Ottawa. We're lucky to be so close to so much water. Peaceful fall water - a nice break.

I see that Bluesky folks are cuddly with our feline neighbours. Here's one I barely knew (but it was human-curious).

I'm often just drawn to broken blobs of light.

Also in 2021, my mother, who was beginning her journey with dementia, was brought up from Pennsylvania because her partner was no longer able to look after her and he had become ill. She stayed at the house until I was able to find an apartment for both of us. So I was "living" in Ottawa and Lyn.

Four years ago this month I went to stay with a friend in Lyn, Ontario. He had recently been diagnosed with leukaemia. I was beginning a separation and was able to help with bills and housework at his trailer. He was most concerned about his cat, Diego, who he missed while getting chemo in hospital.

On the other social platforms I was able to get into a photo posting rhythm. I've lost it, being away from it. I'm not sure I'll put things here in an order that will make sense. Maybe I shouldn't even worry about it, though. Just let 'er rip. Ok. So ... here's my boy.

Walked through Viking for a little while. Didn't take long.

The most recent of Life's experiences was losing our brother Dave. He was in small-town, Viking, Alberta. He was a graphic artist, but worked in construction and eventually, a liquor store. He did design and print work on the side, including, for the store. He was not great at organizing, however.
