Realised today, that the old, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, still has multiplayer support, and allows for shared cockpit... a feature neither of the newer simulators by Microsoft have.

Had an awesome stream today. Not only did I get some actual progress made in Satisfactory (to the point I'm ahead of my "main" save in my "stream" save), but I also got raided in by @alilspookee.bsky.social and their amazing community~

So. In typical fashion, my work took like, three times as long to finish than planned. But, I am stubborn. So I'll stream anyway, even though I'm almost 2 and a half hours late :P

Finally, stream day after my hiatus! Now that I've got, and looked around Flight Simulator 2024, I'll be doing the career mode as a regular stream. I've heard... interesting things about the career mode, so I'm expecting some jankiness 🤪But hey, that's the fun part isn't it?

I was cautiously optimistic about the new regulations for #F1 this year. More overtake opportunities is something I generally welcome (though I admit the battery regen / deployment is a bit of a farce). However, Bearman's Suzuka crash showed the high closing speeds caused are unacceptably dangerous.

It feels like we're back to the mid 2010s with the gap between teams in F1. Then again, that's to be expected with such a massive rule change. Hoping, and expecting the field to be a lot closer in future, but that'll probably be by next season rather than later this season in my opinion.

Day 2 of trying to get flight simulator to work on my new PC... I've resorted to reinstalling windows. More a hope than an expecation of success at this point.

Friday's stream had me stumble across Lake Kussharo in Hokkaido. The view was stunning enough I did a second flight later, off stream specifically to do a photo-op.

Soo, the landing challenges made me realise I'd been landing a solid 20 knots above actual touchdown speed, oops. Still, tons of fun, and I learned to land more like a pilot and less like a Kangaroo.

Had a lot of fun doing landing challenges on Friday, so decided I'll do another stream (also in part figuring out if I can start doing 2 streams a week)

Same as last time I realised I need a PC upgrade, a PC part apocalypse has hit nary a few months before I could afford the new build.
