I was cautiously optimistic about the new regulations for #F1 this year. More overtake opportunities is something I generally welcome (though I admit the battery regen / deployment is a bit of a farce). However, Bearman's Suzuka crash showed the high closing speeds caused are unacceptably dangerous.

It feels like we're back to the mid 2010s with the gap between teams in F1. Then again, that's to be expected with such a massive rule change. Hoping, and expecting the field to be a lot closer in future, but that'll probably be by next season rather than later this season in my opinion.

Day 2 of trying to get flight simulator to work on my new PC... I've resorted to reinstalling windows. More a hope than an expecation of success at this point.
