Congrats to Venezuela on a memorable #WBC victory! One thing that stood out to me was the passion, fire, and joy they played with. This contrasted heavily with the all business “travel ball” arrogance of the US. I hope future teams will embrace the pure love of the game mentality. More thoughts soon

#Biden gave a farewell speech that will go down in history. While most pundits are correctly comparing it with IKE’s last speech, I also see some strong comparisons with Washington’s final address. He saw the direction that political polarization was taking us and wanted to take a stand against it.

Biden was right last night to warn about America becoming an oligarchy. Trump is appointing an unprecedented number of billionaires to his cabinet and giving Elon Musk a White House office. They won't lower grocery prices or make housing more affordable—they're stealing from the American people.
