Folks, get those steps in!! Washington Post: Researchers found people with early, presymptomatic Alzheimer’s disease who did 3 to 5,000 steps a day slowed their cognitive decline 3 years vs. those who walked less. People who walked 5 to 7,000 steps daily delayed their decline an average 7 years.

Princeton U. announcement: free tuition for students of families earning up to $250,000. Most families making up to $150,000 a year will pay nothing for their Princeton student’s tuition, housing, food, books and personal expenses. Most undergrad families earning up to $250,000 won’t pay tuition.

Uh oh.: Effective Jan. 8, visa-exempt travelers will need an Electronic Travel Authorization before arriving in the UK. The cost for US citizens: roughly $13 (or 10 British pounds).
