Nerd sniped myself this week. Pushed a 2pm app update to the product team on Friday before turning my out of office on for 2 weeks. Immediately got a crash report that it’s not working on iOS 16. Got that niggle, so had to spend my Saturday afternoon fixing it. Couldn’t leave it 2 weeks 😅

Spent 2 days getting EF to automatically insert triggers in a Migration whenever a new table is added. A friend asked “why not just remember?” A core tenet for code is maintainability. If future me forgets to add these triggers I could maybe lose < 2 days trying to debug & helps other colleagues too

It’s hard to be a #saintsfc fan right now. When you see McCarthy’s name on the team sheet you can at least steel yourself for the inevitable

Sometime you just have to be honest with yourself and give up trying to make that pesky reverse proxy work, and resign yourself to a slightly more difficult local dev setup 🫠
