Swanky radio system 😎 The late 1940’s My Mom (R) and her cousin posing by the family radio. It was probably considered a top of the line system at the time. Not certain it was a record player also but it might have been. They are both gone now so the history went with them.

Union Station Denver Finished in 1881 Some additions and remodeling with a hotel and restaurants now. Historical building in Colorado. Amtrak arrives and departs here. Worth a tour if you are in the area. When trains were the mode of travel, notables from around the globe came through here.

Not everything is black and white. A grey area exists too. Things may not appear to be what they really are. Still waters can run deep or be stagnant shallow pools. A person that can be honest with themselves, especially when they know they have to change, are the most trustworthy.

Tapas and bubbly wine. My limit for the year 😁 Afternoon/evening on the town in Denver. Went to Las Bebidas or Señor Bears in the Highlands area of Denver, very yum! Reservations suggested. Then we did an escape room in Arvada. Very fun! Some specialty desserts and voilà. Nice memories 🍃🌿🌱🐬🩵

Snow on the skylight Overnight snow blocks all but a sliver of sunrise this morning through the sky windows as I call them. Usually, no lights are needed with two of these in the room even on a full moon night.

Beautiful Canada by Rail Trains go places cars do not so you get to see some lovely back country. Tons of eagles, a moose and bear were seen along the travels. VIA Rail often runs late as the freight trains it shares the rails with slow it down, yet there is always something amazing to see.
