I recently got followed by Gooner King: THE King of Gooning and Follower of Artists. This means it's official, I am an artist now.

I used to prefer doing linework over rendering back in 2024, usually I'd push myself to color in what I drew because even if I didn't like the cleanup process, in the end it would look nice. It's the opposite now, but the only problem is you can't color and render a sketch that doesn't exist!!!

I ended up getting used to the controls of Mario Kart World, something I actually like about it is how they lessened the penalty for getting hit, unless it's consecutive. The amount of slowdown from being hit is the only thing I didn't like about 8.

I spoke of my reach on twitter being entirely conditional which I'm learning again firsthand, so I'm going to crash a wrecking ball into my own perceived integrity and do some key jingling 😼

My twitter account has been inactive for about a week and has a post at the forefront saying that I'd be leaving, and despite that people are following me there anyway. I kind of bad but the last thing I want is Twitter Stockholm Syndrome!!!!

I find 4’s aero suit to be extremely easy for me to draw, though she still has her original hero suit. She keeps it locked in her room where Tenten can’t get it.

Inkfish society probably has people that use super jumping as a superficial measurement of worth, like, there’s probably some turf war-going inklings out there that think you’re inferior because you can’t super jump as high as them.

I've been thinking back about how a while back I joked about me motivating myself to work on the deep by imagining somebody making a Potential Man meme after me, but not long after I posted that, Telepurte started living my nightmare. I was horrified when I saw that happen

When I was on Twitter, I had luck on my side. For the time I had been there, everybody was nice, my art was credited when reposted, and since I was on Splatoon twt I'd probably never see my art get edited, but that update spoke to a larger intent I don't want to be involved in.

Sorry, I never ended up making that Christmas piece, I was having a jolly time yesterday and now I’m stuck in a hades 2 glue trap. But, getting to see Jen Zee’s art for prolonged periods has made me motivated to draw too 😁

I had always thought Mario kart world seemed satisfying from gameplay and then the moment I get my hands on it, it turns out every decision they made with game-feel is like a spiteful affront to me specifically.

I never show many of my practice sketches so I went and compiled some stuff from the last couple days.

I drew my oc Mevias a few days ago, though I forgot to post it anywhere

In the future I really want to make more collage-like illustrations like these. This one specifically didn't take me that much time to make, though it's also that I like the idea of composing one that could very easily look like an elaborate album cover.

Since I'm too tired to draw I decided I should at least make this 😼

Oh right also, in case you didn't want to go back to twitter to see; I made the decision to make an Insta instead, the @ to that is Snoozieperhour24. I was almost too busy being a vaguepostking to mention it 😼

Another thing is, I had already kind of envisioned in the future that Twitter would get more pushy, with the obnoxious pop up begging you to use Grok any post. But with how easy it is to remove watermarks, that "update" only one of few individuals, you know.

Though my following is technically smaller here, I’m kind of glad Bluesky exists. I knew at some point Twitter was going to turn into Thieftopia , it was only a matter of time😼

I think another good skill to attain when drawing alone is being good at troubleshooting when something about your work is off. You kind of get this skill already as you improve but being able to diagnose what irks you is useful so that next time you draw you know the direction to go to remedy it.
