My Bluesky algorithms, like my dog Honey, seem to be full of love and enthusiasm but are hopelessly untrained. So far my Discover is all manga elves, UK football, and Americans justifiably excited about American libraries. Also, shouting "Leave it! Drop it!" seems to have no effect.

A slightly surreal sight on Constantia main road: a truck transporting a very dead whale to its final resting place. Traffic backed up for miles behind it, providing a slightly grumpy unwilling funeral procession. That's its mouth at the front, drooping off the truck.

Moving here after the last few years in That Place is quite disorienting. A bit living on a busy road teeming with aggressively bad drivers and waking up one morning to discover it's been turned into a park. How does one even behave in such tranquility?
