A very merry festive season to all who celebrate! For me, I went a different direction with the festive meal this year. Instead of the traditional roast dinner, we made brisket with mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts (cooked with bacon, cranberries and pine nuts) and cornbread muffins.

My workplace is doing a "Gingerbread House" contest. An email went out saying that supplies were available, with a friendly reminder that while we are free to use supplies from home, to "please keep things edible, and refrain from using things like toothpicks and hot glue."

Success! It looks so good, and feels much more manageable. I can move it around, pose with it, all that good stuff SO much more easily than the previous one. Now to do it all over again to make it's twin, then on to finishing and painting. (Printed on a Bambu H2D, using Bambu PLA Matte filament)

Warglaive round 2. Ran some test prints of the handle to figure out a better size, so this one should be much more manageable (3/4 of the size I printed previously). I also added more infill to the piece that connects the blades to the handle, as that was a weak point on the previous print.

Well, this thing is a BEAST! I trusted the instructions that came with the file, and boy was that a mistake. It's supposed to be 55" - it's as tall as I am (69"), and at 10lbs, carrying two of these will be a bit much by the end of a con day. I might finish this one for a wall display, though.
