It feels very off now seeing pre-release videos of the new Bambu A2L 3D printer compared to before. If I wanted to upgrade my printer I wouldn't know where to go because overall cost is still so high and ease of use is apparently mutually exclusive to being an open platform. It feels like a gotcha.
