🌍 As part of the #LIQUIDICE project, scientists from GEUS-Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland are conducting intensive research in the 💙 of Greenland, at the DYE-2 station. They are collecting data that will help us better understand how climate change affects the future of our entire planet.

Out on the Greenland Ice Sheet, GEUS glaciologist Andreas Ahlstrøm is measuring snow density at DYE-2 for LIQUIDICE ❄️📏 This data helps validate mass balance models + calibrate new SWE sensors. “Snow kept burying my notebook and the pit—had to dig it out 3 times!” - he said. #Greenland #Climate
