With freezes ahead, probably the last pepper harvest of the year. Plus, they had pretty well slowed down to nothing with the cooler weather in general. Gonna freeze them for later dehydrating or turning into pepper jellies.

Today's project was installing a new microwave. Shout-out to the one we had, which was a Whirlpool manufactured when this house was built in 2003, so it was original. And we didn't replace it because it quit working. The door handle broke, & because it's 20 years old, we couldn't find parts for it.

Today I decided to dehydrate a batch of peppers. It will take several hours at 135°F. When they're done, I'll grind them, seeds and all, in a coffee grinder to make a powder I can use for seasoning. Haven't decided if I'll separate them our or just throw them all together for a blend.

My birthday may not be for a few weeks, but I got my birthday gifts from My Gorgeous Bride early... I'm still not sure why she puts up with me, but I think I'll keep her... 😉 Thanks, Love! 💕💕💕💕
