We made it to Porto by the sea, our last stop on this journey. Today we wandered to the ocean.

“Trump, on Tariffs, Says ‘Maybe the Children Will Have 2 Dolls Instead of 30’” This from the NYT. Meaning “Let them eat cake.”

Chillin’ out in San Sebastián. We’ve both got colds that have laid us low, so this smaller town has been perfect. Headed to Bilbao tomorrow.

We’re living on a boat just north of Barcelona. We get a little respite from the city crowds, but it’s just a tram ride to this beautiful city.

I LOVE Madrid. The huge city parks and beautiful old buildings. It’s an urban hiker’s dream.

Madrid is vibrant. I don’t do it justice here but I’ll keep trying.

Left Toledo behind today for a very busy Madrid. We’ve been tooling around in smaller towns, finding the nice urban walking paths and the “just off the beaten path” restaurants. Going out in Madrid will require much more planning, maps, and focus.
