About 90% of the Ancient Greece/Rome historical fiction books I read include anachronisms such as citrus (lemons/oranges) and passenger cabins on warships. Like, wtf, authors. Why? Why do you assume these things existed? You did so much research for your books, why not for that too? I'm so tired.

Yesterday afternoon, after we got back from my monthly doc appointment, something strange happened. There was a couple of flies buzzing around my head while I was trying to read about the late Roman Empire in the living room. I got really angry and frustrated. 1/2
