It's finally here. Took my wife to her detox for her 3 month's stay at rehab. Broke me financially (again). She never filled out the disability paperwork so I had to fund the cab and other transport fees from detox to rehab. Rent is going to be a real hassle. Worth it. Peace of mind.

I held a little bird in my hand today. It was outside where I work, cold and dazed. I think it froze or hit a window. It let me pick it up. No fear at all. I cupped it and warmed it. After a few minutes, it started to squirm, so it lifted my hand and let it fly. I love little animals.

It's amazing to me that my wife couldn't successfully hide Xmas gifts for the stepkids growing up, yet she could hide dozens of bottles from me in a tiny apartment. During rehab, she has confessed to finding 6, 26 oz bottles in a bulk sugar bin. She doesn't remember doing any of the bottles. Yeah.
