Turns out that my sore throat wasn’t caused by streptococcus this time. I got a canker sore in my uvula. Holy shit, this is the absolute worst kind of canker sore out there. I can’t speak or eat without feeling pain.

Before I left for the DJ set in Helsinki, I was recording vocals for a new song. I hated how they sounded and thought about scrapping the track all together, but now after few days of not hearing it and then opening up the project… I like it now? Huh…

Playing with the new Opus Quad was a bit scary, since the tempo grids were all over the place as if Rekordbox didn’t sync anything. Despite that I managed to pull it off with semi-smooth mixing. Hopefully I can come back and play in Helsinki area again soon! I haven’t had this much fun in ages.
