Question for Godot devs. Working on my first game and I have a section where the user inputs text into an old school terminal. How would you handle unique input steps such as creating a username/password and searching a site, ect? Currently I am using a statemachine but its getting bloated.

Been super busy working on my game the last few days. Its been that type of week where you pour hours and hours into a new concept and then at the end you don't understand a single fucking thing still. Yeah, no, I'm super not bitter about it.

Well, took me like 6 hours today but I got the Dialogue Manager in my Godot project and working. Mind you this is the first time I have ever done anything like this. My first like, real game I am making. ASCII art, old terminal colors, no mouse input. Lots of in depth system, lots of humor.

Friend of mine found a Model M keyboard while cleaning out his grandparents stuff for them. He snagged it and sent it to me and now I'm so excited to have this piece of mechanical keyboard history.

Game devs, question for you. Should I A) Keep developing my game in C# to run in the OS native terminal or B) start over in Godot? I'm worried that running something in console is too technical for an end user, and Windows 11 base terminal settings breaks my game.

AI "art" is such a mistake. So much low-effort slop poisoning the well of actual good stuff out there. Looking for a youtube video of ambient sounds for studying, everything is AI generated with AI art. Which platforms would make a stand and say no to it.
