Cornish in Wales Food and health policy | Future Generations Cymru 🏴 l views my own
My first post on Bluesky (having, up til now, simply reposted more interesting people). Five years since feels like quite a milestone - probably because it’s longer than the negotiations. Mainly thinking about brilliant colleagues I am lucky enough to call friends and how emotional this time was.

It is *good* that this mom supported her child and helped them access the reproductive care that they needed. Yet she’s being criminalized for it. These strategies that criminalize helpers are meant to create fear. It’s evil.

Love this work by Cegin y bobl, teaching kids how to cook healthy food from scratch for a community hub (and the FM). So much potential for good local food and cooking to bring more communities together.

Thank you BEYOND Conference for the opportunity share the Well-being of Future Generations Act with delegates. The importance of cultural wellbeing within the statutory definition of sustainable development is a powerful reminder that culture is not decorative but deeply structural.

I made this video looking at Wales' new tourism tax. It explores how much it will be, when it is coming in and why they are doing it. If you prefer it old school I have also done you a thread! [Thread]

Really happy to have worked with Welsh citizens in their deliberations on food policy in Wales as part of the UK’s biggest conversation with the public on food. A fantastic example of involving people in public policy debates.

⚠️ Pontypridd has been hit by devastating floods and our wonderful independent bookshop, Storyville Books, has seen much of its stock destroyed. If you’re able to buy a book from them, this would go such a long way to help support them rebuild in the aftermath. 👉

Nestled in the rolling hills of the South Wales valleys, we are the only independent bookshop in Pontypridd, selling new books and more.
