I love seeing these but haven't ever really posted one before! Hello- I'm always tired and I always look like it. Promise I'm happy to be here anyways.

This year will be my first time attempting something like this- I'm quite excited about it!

Adeline is a pretty common name, but it has two common ways of being said and I've heard both; I personally favor and intended to be said as the French style Add-e-leen way (lore reason, Elezen heritage) rather than the normal English Add-uh-Line.

The tipping point for me to start modding was definitely hair- I was really tired of limited straight hair options with bangs I don't care for!!! To this day I still have a large hair mod library and still collect them, even if I currently mostly use the hairs I make for myself.

Adeline will if it's something she views as within reason. She's not above negotiating behaviors with others, as long as it isn't either a situation where she is forced to compromise something intrinsic that she considers part of her sense of self, or an ultimatum.

I think that to the people that know her well Adeline is extremely predictable even when she's being impulsive, because her values are consistent. To people who don't understand her priority system though (and she doesn't let most people close), I think that she comes across as mildly unpredictable.

Adeline isn't a particularly difficult patient, but she absolutely hates being taken care of and tends to doctor herself. Because her background is healing, she has a very difficult time seeing any injury or sickness as anything other than a personal failure on her part, even if it's unreasonable.

This is why I answered the poly one first, because since my WoLship is a throuple; it's Horizons. Where the Land meets the Sea and Sky. One for each of them.

Some of them are- Adeline is technically one of them. Her relationship is actually a triad relationship with one of my other OCs, Esen, and then my version of Fray. While the other two sometimes entertain other partners (within boundaries and agreement), it can be VERY difficult to get Addie to.

Adeline's main classes in current story are GNB and SGE, and she combines them into something that's similar to a turret gunbreaker, with extra shielding and some casting. It allows her to split focus with minimal consequence, but solo battles and sparring tend to end up as battles of attrition.

Adeline's parents, Valeria and Ezra. Gleaners that as a team specialized in the obtainment and acclimation of particularly aggressive and hostile fauna specimens for researchers. Both are specialists, with Ria as something similar conceptually to a beast tamer, and Ezra as a veterinary focused Sage.

I have a grand total of (1) alt- who was actually the character I played when ARR was current! I had an extended break from the game, and when I came back to it I did so with friends; they egged me on into creating a new character to "re-experience the story with them" which is my current main.

Happy New Year, everyone! This is a bit of a reflection post for myself on the last year and on my thoughts for the coming year!

Adeline is 6'0"! She tends to wear heels though, so she often comes across as being a few inches taller than that.

Being able to mix and match vanilla pieces is a dream, and my Miss Addie still so cute- even though I still really miss the particular look of her modded features.

I always use F!Elezen idles for Adeline! Her base model is midlander, but she is technically a mixed Elezen/Hyur. And because she was more than 85% raised by her Elezen grandmother, I consider those idles her picking up and unconsciously imitating her grandmother's posture habits specifically.

I took this both as a way to compare my gpose skills from a few months ago to now, as well as comparing my mods from a few months ago to now. It's really cool to see how much I've learned for both!!!

Adeline is very avoidant-type with her feelings. So in the same way that she tries her best to repress her desires, she also tries to repress and avoid most negative feelings. She tends to do this by throwing herself into difficult or involved tasks that require significant mental stimulus.

I'd been looking for the date I started for FOREVER, and this actually helped me figure it out!!! Thanks to this, I now know my two main's creation/birth dates 😊! Adeline's is 7/3 (2019), and Aloysia's is 7/12 (2014).

For Adeline: • Nail guards (light corruption has made them brittle, so she wears protective covers on them) • Earrings (almost always enchanted in some form, usually for protection) • Heels (She's 6'0"; tall for Middies but short for Elezen, prefers being closer in height to her full Elezen family)
