For #raptor day, how about a Sparrowhawk keeping the bathers at bay in the garden.

Great day out up the hills yesterday with kingleby1.bsky.social cold, slippery but beautiful and invigorating. Nice birds too.

Back to Musselburgh yesterday, the romance/ bromance still going strong with Marsh Sandpiper and Spotted Redshank and both showing well.

A big thank you to the Marsh Sandpiper for hanging around Musselburgh for so long and allowing me to see it yesterday. It even made friends with the Spotted Redshank for a while. Nice to see lots of nice birders too.
