Hell yeah, beat Dragon Quest 6. It did a lot of cool and innovative things story wise. The encounter rate was a little high and some of the dungeon design wasn’t my favorite, but it was still a fun and sweaters with warm cider level cozy time. Now I get to use my 3DS again and continue with 7. 🧙🏻‍♂️

The thing nobody tells you about Cincinnati is it’s surrounded by a moat of chili. You have to know a guy to be let in. Kids’ birthday parties are such a good time when it’s your friend’s kids so everybody is hanging out and having a good time. A lot of life lived and to be lived between the ages.

I’ve never played Dragon Quest 6 before and have stayed unspoiled, so it’s pretty hype to play a new to me classic of my favorite series. Only one mainline unplayed DQ to go after this and I have DQX installed with clarity on my steamdeck so I’m hyped to get to that too. Video game happy places r 👍

Today started with a migraine after getting off a bad shift at work followed by a poosplosion which needed rinsed in the tub where the tub stem broke so the water wouldn’t stop but ended in movies and a pool with the kids, with beating Dragon Quest 5 in the middle. The bad days can turn around quick

The neat thing about working thirds from home is I’m already awake when she’s hungry so I just take my lunch break. I get farted on a lot more than you usually would at work though. I hope anyway.

New Deftones is my favorite album they’ve done. It’s sprawling and intricately beautiful. They’ve really dialed in what they do best and distilled it.

I beat Dragon Quest 4! Then I beat the extra chapter for the happy ending because Psaro and Rose deserve it. This game started out doing separate chapters, I don’t normally dig, but it brings it together so well. Real happy I went back to it, I love it a bunch. Now time for 5 w/ my bud slime knight!

Finally managed to squeeze some time to write in. Fingers crossed this baby learns to sleep at some point.

I’ve been on a big JRPG kick (pause button hell yeah). I thought “I’ll see what new stuff is out there, it’s been a while” so I grabbed some Persona&SMT. Beat the first dungeon of P5 tho&it felt heavy padded, had some fun with SMTV. Bounced off onto Dragon Quest 4. This nerd you cannot change.

I deed eet. I beat the Dragon Quest 3 remake! Zoma gave me a lot of trouble, so it was pretty sweet when that last hit slow mo turned on. I’m a huge fan of the remake, it improved upon the original in every way and really nailed that balance of nostalgia and a shiny coat of paint &monster wrangling🧡
