Found out today that my state cut all preexisting funding for overdose prevention, addiction, & “harm reduction efforts to reduce overdose rates and deaths.” The city I live and work in has as many overdose deaths as San Francisco and my state is in the top worst for overdose for the past 15 years.

Thnx for this Kevin! I agree w/ you, I don’t worry about renal dosing esp for Keppra load for status epi and I generally won’t adjust maintenance doses unless pt experiences psych AEs. Risk vs benefit…from my pov, I rather ensure pt has adequate Keppra concentration to control seizures vs mild ADR 😊
