I happened on one of those lego game boys in the store today. I'm conflicted about them. On one hand they're cool. On the other hand I don't need more ~~things~~ (I have many things as it is). I opted to not get it. We'll see what the future brings though

I'm new to the apple macintosh operating systems, is there no way to switch between windows from 2 apps without getting all the windows from the app? Like if I want to drag files from finder into an app, can I not just get that one finder window I had last instead of all of them I just want alt+tab

Huh, the disk formatting issues I've been having with a 26TB external drive seem to be caused by my usb hub. If I connect directly to the computer it formats nearly instantly. If I connect through the hub it takes 2 hours then fails. This is upsetting to me...

I'm a big silly. I got a 4MB (2x2MB) GB flash cart and GBxCart from insideGadgets 2 years ago I learned today that you need to manually set the right cart type in the software. I've been living with a 2MB cart for 2 years! Also learned a GBA game shell can be used as a case for the GBxCart!

I'm spending too much time fussing with that paint picking app. I changed it to use requestAnimationFrame to update the colours instead of input events because it was really janky on iOS. Now I'm considering adding something to pick colours based on benjamin moore codes.

I notice that, for some reason, I have a bias against npm installed tools that I don't have with something that's pip installed and requires python. For example I was looking into webpack for some personal project and I noticed I was turned off because I needed to install it from npm 🤷‍♂️
