Last summer I had a bout of the hiccups that lasted for 48 hours, and it completely wrecked me. Haven’t had the hiccups since then, but I woke up in the middle of the night and am entering hour 6. Beginning to panic that this is going to be my life.

I hate to say this but I’m seeing a lot of iOS 26 redesigns that leave the app worse off. It’s very important to lean into the system’s conventions, but in the process developers are losing their app’s unique personality in favor of homogeneity. Worse, many of the apps have less clarity than before.
