Our Primary 3’s are busy building their meta-skills today! Collaboration, creativity, and focusing skills on display as they worked together to design our new class mascot.

This Anti-Bullying Week, Primary 3 explored what bullying is, why it happens, and how we can stand up against it. We created our own class pledge and built a Helping Hands Tree to show how we’ll support one another.

Division with a twist! We read The Doorbell Rang, then divided cookies into groups (we even worked with remainders) 🍪➗

P3 have been practicing the ‘Stop’ Decider skill today. Each group acted out everyday situations and learning how to pause, think, and manage our feelings before we react. Great teamwork displayed ✅

P3 had a brilliant time outdoors today on a measuring scavenger hunt! Using rulers, metre sticks and trundle wheels! 🌳

Our P3s had a fantastic gymnastics lesson yesterday! We focused on balancing and rolling before working in groups to create our own sequences. ✅

Super work from Primary 3 in PE today! 🤸‍♂️ They displayed great rolling and balancing skills, then created their own gymnastics sequences to perform. So proud of their teamwork and confidence!

What a morning! P3 absolutely loved the Work Hard, Get Muddy obstacle course. They worked so hard, got super muddy, and had the best time doing it.

We celebrated fantastic swimming progress and amazing football skills this week. So proud of all the hard work and effort 🌟

Primary 3 have been learning about Ancient Egypt! We explored why pharaohs were important, then made our own colourful Egyptian collar. Just like the pharaohs wore!

In Numeracy, Primary 3 have been learning about greater than and less than. We explored this through fun, hands-on activities to help us compare numbers

Building words using magnetic letters! We then used them to write super sentences 🌟

P3 have been learning about polar bears 🐻‍❄️. We talked about the ice melting and how this makes life hard for them. We then created polar bear portraits using paints and newspaper!

Meta Skills with Mrs E 🌟 Today our learners designed their own puzzles 🧩, swapped with a partner, and timed how long it took to solve. A brilliant mix of communication, creativity, problem solving and focus!

P3 sorted letters into short, tall, and tail letters ✍️ A fun activity to help with letter recognition and formation. Great focus today!

Today we learned about endangered animals. Then students worked in groups to sort animals into ‘endangered’ and ‘not endangered.’ Great teamwork + important conversations about protecting wildlife! 🌍💚

Brilliant teamwork from our PE session this week! Each group worked together to throw beanbags into hoops — if it landed on target, they collected the hoop for their team. Lots of fun, focus, and laughs 👏🏽

In H&WB P3W have been learning about different emotions and which colours represents each emotion! ( the Inside Out movies are definitely a fan favourite in this class 😂)
