1/ A clear-cut execution in broad daylight. Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber was 15 years old when he was killed by Israeli soldiers yesterday during a raid in the occupied West Bank. His killing is part of a broader pattern in which Palestinian children are systematically killed under occupation.

1/ Organized crime has been devastating Palestinian communities across Israel for years. Entire villages and towns are being forced to live with fear while shootings and violence become part of everyday life. None of this is inevitable.

When the army and settlers, with the backing of the government, work together to intimidate Palestinians with the goal of ultimately expelling them from their land, we cannot say that settler violence is carried out by a few settlers alone. (1/3)

Standing Together student activists, who are also archeology students, protested an archeology conference in service of a government plan to take over West Bank land. According to the government, the land grab will "preserve and protect archaeological and heritage sites." (1/3)

It’s been eight months since the "ceasefire" came into effect. In that time, some 930 Palestinians have been killed; most of the population is still in overcrowded tent camps due to a lack of building supplies; and medicine and electricity have been accessible only periodically. (1/4)
