From 2020 More tales from my childhood.This oddly wonderful fountain sits in front of city hall.It commemorates the introduction of irrigation to Southern Alberta.It’s a strange mix of Gaudi & St. Louis Arch.As a kid,I climbed on it & splashed around before there was such a thing as ‘public safety’.

The Last Chapter There’s something about cemeteries. I’ve always found them interesting. They’re imbued with emotion… love, loss, connection, and hope. It’s one experience that each of us has in common with all who have gone before, and all who are still to come.

Outside the abandoned Del Bonita School I saw this rather disturbing, child-size cage. No idea what its actual purpose was, but I really hope it wasn’t used to ‘discipline’ anyone. 🙁
