Chapter Three of “The Fragile Masque of Sanity” introduces the character of John, a gifted dresser (resident surgeon) and close confidant of Thomas. The main story—starting properly—begins here, with the discussion of the death of Elizabeth Dott proving the catalyst.

Chapter Two of “The Fragile Masque of Sanity” is a short character sketch revealing some of Thomas’s motivations, upbringing, and perspectives. Since this chapter is relatively brief (and since I finished Chapter Seven already), I'll likely post the next part tomorrow or in the coming days ~<3
