I find it increasingly astounding that Mitt Romney, a man of impeccable integrity, does not deliver a Churchillian rejoinder to the imbecile whose corruption and unAmerican foulness the mass of Republicans support. It could be a speech for the ages . . . yet he refrains from delivering it.

Going to Europe tomorrow with a maple leaf on my lapel, expecting to meet at every turn Americans who will apologize for their president. Sad indeed, that a corrupt imbecile has turned the White House into (i) an international laughingstock, and (ii) a nexus for fear and loathing.

One of the most obscene events in history: a president of the United States laying out a red carpet on American soil for a war criminal. It is to vomit.

It’s like a big joke on the history of the world, that a corrupt vulgar pathological liar is president of the United States. He is more suitably cast as a grotesque character in a cartoon.

If Mitt Romney refuses to speak, let us urge Mike Pence to recall how Churchill was an outcast from his party . . . the great man defiantly spoke many Truths and ultimately proved the savior of his country. How about stepping up, Mike? You are seeing what we are all seeing: fascism on the march.
