I'm inside the Monolith on Expedition 33, so I think on my next Xbox gaming session that could be a game I end up finishing. Am I going to do some of the post-game stuff? Unlikely, as I've got so many other games to finish, unless there's something I absolutely HAVE to do.

Well. Hollow Knight: Silksong is completed, and with that the Twitch career is over. I might do the odd charity stream now and then, or maybe one for new FF/SEGA games, but for now I ride into the streaming sunset. It's been fun.

January seems to be a month of finishing things, so far:- Four games completed Third arc of Bleach anime done (could get 4th done before Feb too) Likely to finish Dragon Ball this evening Is 2026 finally the year where the backlog actually gets smaller?

I've been reading Alexis the monster Kingdom Hearts novel collection that I bought last year, and today we finished Kingdom Hearts: The Novel. Weirdly misses out Colosseum & Hundred Acre Wood, as well as Halloween Town which the manga also skips, but otherwise pretty faithful adaptation.

Is this ACTUALLY Crush 40 though, or is Johnny just...using the name himself? Also, I can't imagine any scenario where enough Sonic fans, rabid though they are, will attend these concerts to a point where that $2m VFX bill is paid off.

Stuck this on the @radiosega.net Discord, but going to mention it here as well - got friends coming around this evening so we're postponing SNS for a week. Should be back as normal next week, and then we'll crack on with a (mostly) weekly schedule lol

Reminder that there's no Silksong today as I'm owing some time back to work, so we'll be back next week to hopefully smack Grand Mother Silk around and get the game done. Depending on how long it takes, we'll use the rest of the time to try and see some other bits.

We've had a bit of a switch around at work due to a delivery not turning up, so I've had half a day today and I'm going to make the rest of the time up tomorrow. What that means is that there won't be a Silksong stream tomorrow, and we'll be back next week.

Finished the Assassin's Creed books I own today (had bought them all yearly up until Origins) and...yeah, I'm not continuing on with those. Love the games - recently gotten back into Valhalla (yes I'm behind, I know) - but the books are so dryly written and devoid of any real excitement.

Got fully back into catching up on my anime backlog last night by carrying on with Dragon Ball - I hadn't watched any since coming back from Japan because it was what I'd watch whilst exercising, and I'd done my ankle in. Still not started that back up, though. Soon.

We were talking about former manager earlier, who used to claim he was our saviour when we needed help, and I said "yeah but in the end you couldn't saviour own job" and it was amazing wordplay. Thought you'd like to see it.

I had an odd dream yesterday - I'll try and recount it here because it is a strange one. So, I dreamt that I was co-hosting @summerofsonic.bsky.social for a 35th Anniversary special with @sonicstadium.org. There was a press release and everything, then a few weeks beforehand it disappeared.

I'll be back on Twitch tomorrow to, hopefully, finish off Silksong and then bring down the curtain on my streams. After saying it was the end at the backend of last year I took some time to figure out if I actually meant that because I know I have a habit of flip-flopping on stuff like this.

I finally finished Final Fantasy VII Rebirth today! 103 hours in, and to be honest I tapped out - I was toying with dropping the difficulty to Easy and mopping the side quests up, but I want to play other games instead. Still kept the save file though, just in case I fancy it later. bckl.gg/qyx4

I might have mentioned this before, but I'm watching Bleach and I seriously have no memory of most of what I'm watching. I seem to recall being three or four arcs in - certainly enough to justify buying the movies on DVD - but I just have no recollection of the current story.

Time off is over, and I'm back to work in the morning. Not expecting it to be a massively busy day (though it could be), yet I'm feeling a bit off about it. I thought the feeling of being burned out would've gone and I'd be refreshed, but it hasn't and I'm not. A change is on the cards, I think.

Finished Stranger Things. Liked it, might have to go watch the West End show at some point, though.

Just found an American Xbox One copy of World of Final Fantasy Maxima for £8.50 on Vinted. Don't mind if I do - the Maxima DLC is £13 on its own and I was toying with importing a Switch version at some point, so this was definitely a cheaper way of owning it for the collection!

Was fun keeping a thread going of the games I finished and films I watched last year. Don't think I'll do it again this year though. I've got a Letterboxd account and I think I set up a Backloggd one, so I'll just link to those at some point and you can follow if you want to see that kinda stuff.

Had to wrap some presents tonight, so I've finally gotten around to finishing Sonic Prime on Netflix. It was a thing. Glad I finished it, can't really say I was that bothered by it in the end though.

Restarted Bleach after...quite a few years of not watching it. It's no longer on Crunchyroll so I've had to start again from the beginning on Disney+ as I have absolutely no idea what episode I was on lol. I've also got the joy of the English dub, which doesn't seem too bad two episodes in.

Had a proper listen to Labrinth's remix of Marble Zone and it, weirdly, gives me James Bond vibes. I like it. Bonus points for avoiding the rather obvious remix, too.

Are we though? Geoff has never been a fan of Sonic and you can almost see the contempt on his face when he actually has to say something about it during The Geoffs. If there's one place you SHOULDN'T EVER expect Sonic to turn up, it's there.
