Leaf the koala in an Ormiston College gum this morning that they plan to chainsaw down. She’s not ‘lost’ as the principal claimed on the radio the other day, she’s HOME, and they’re destroying it.The trees adjacent to the one she’s in have already been flattened. You can’t make this stuff up.

Fact: blasting Talking Heads’ ‘This Must Be The Place’ & consuming a glass of McGuigan’s Black Label Red (or poor man’s Church Block as I like to call it) takes the edge off existential nihilism and profound misanthropy, though sadly, it doesn’t do much to address the root causes of this malady.

The Qld Deputy Premier has given Ormiston College the ok to destroy 600 koala habitat trees on their grounds so they can build more ovals & buildings.The school’s ecology report says koalas don’t inhabit the trees but locals regularly see and photograph them. Next step: Fed Env Minister Appalling…
