Before @gryphonamx.bsky.social yells at me again. 🤣 Here are my astrophotography shots from the other week while I was house and dog sitting. These are my first photos I’ve ever taken of the Milky Way galaxy.

Bright moon last night. Just cropped the photo and put my watermark on it.

The daughter of the carpenter bee that visited us last year. They lay their eggs and go into hibernation over the winter. They die and their children spawn. They only live for a year. So each year I see one of them I’m happy.

Early morning today. Caught this a bit before 7. Talk about timing!

And my completed lunar eclipse photo sequence. Thank god for the Aussie Colin Smith of photoshopCAFE for the tutorial. Aside from a slight alignment issue I'm very happy with the end result. Enjoy!

Beautiful day out Monday. Managed to get some exercise time in with chunky Jade. And then a nice moon. No I didn’t get a super telephoto lens yet. Just zoomed and cropped the one I took with the 55-200mm. 🙂

Nice panoramic sunsets from my usual spot on my drive home last night and tonight. Glad I decided to look over and see this months ago.
