Hey, Mage: The Ascension people. What's your best custom rote for the correspondence or data spheres?

In Call of Cthulhu, I do not for the life of me know why players are so adamant on building these convoluted justifications for having stockpiles of weapons into their characters. It is Cthulhu mythos monsters. Your .357 magnum might as well be an emotional support corgi.

I've been playing an WoD Mage (20) game and I've noticed there is this dichotomy in this system between approaching an obstacle straightforward or deconstructing it on a meta level and approaching it abstractly and there it can be a little hard to figure out what the best path is go with it.

Everyone likes for their child to be a reader right up until that reading turns into perspective, worldview, and opinions. That is the sieve that separates out the parents invested in their children's development from the parents who just see them as a trophy or ornament.

So, my fictional writing is an outcropping of years of online text roleplay. As I transition to writing short stories, I am noticing an emergent weakness. The character I most identify with in the story is coming off excellently written. Whereas the other characters are written far more weakly. 1/2

I don't think I could have ever worked as a chef, despite my love of cooking. Cause like.. if I am working in a kitchen and someone else is within 5 feet of me, even if they are not physically in my way right then, I am just filled with white hot rage at how hypothetically in my way they could be.
