Everyone knows how Throw Away your Mask (Maruki's theme) its basically a direct responde to Beneath the Mask (Ren's theme). Maruki implies that in his reality, Ren doesn't need the mask.
However, this is fake, as in Maruki's ending, he's still wearing it (glasses and longer hair) +
add a skeleton here at some point
